The ET1302 portable ballast water fluorescence meter is designed for onboard, offshore, and outdoor applications. Most of the pre filters in the ballast water management system filter out plankton larger than 50 μ m and a small amount of phytoplankton, so the remaining samples will use phytoplankton (planktonic algae) with particle size distribution between 10-50 μ m as the detection object.

Testing process
